Yohannes Bridal - Wedding Dress Hunting

I am so excited, and I believe every bride to be will be very excited to try on wedding dresses.
Since I put my down payment in Yohannes Bridal, so I am going to post some gowns that I have tried  in Yohannes Bridal, here they are:

First Dress

Those are the dress I can get from my package. They all looked good but I don't think I am saying yes to one of them and then I decide to upgade my package. And these are the dresses I could try after the upgrade:

Actually I quite love the forth dress but the others advice me to keep looking, so I have not decided yet on that time.

One thing that I disappoint about this Bridal is the marketing is never contact me as soon as they got my down payment. It is no surprise for me since I have heard some of my friends experienced the same things. No wonder why before I put my down payment I have convinced and make sure that my marketing will contact me if they have new wedding dress so I can put it on trial. And she say yes! while in the reality, she never concact me again  :(

One day, when I do my homeworks searching and browsing about what kind of wedding dress that fit my body and affordable, I found a beautiful dress in their instagram. I chat my marketing and ask her whether I can try on that wedding dress and she said I can comeover whenever I can, but she think it is too early for me to tag my wedding dress since my wedding day is still 6 months ahead. And I made a regretful decision: I wait until 3 months before my wedding day to pick the dress.

I have to admit that they have a lot of gowns and dresses  but unfortunately the wedding dress that I want so badly has been tagged by another bride. I was so upset and torn. But, I finally decide to move on and looking for another wedding dress. And here are the comparation between the wedding dress which I finally picked for my wedding day (it is brand new and need some alterations) and the wedding dress that I fall in love on the first place but I can not have to wear it on my big day - the left one is the wedding dress I finally picked and the right one is the wedding dress that has broke my heart into pieces :p (just kidding)




This wedding gown is new and design by Tommy Panca Murti, the designer of Yohannes Bridal. It was worn once for fashion show purposes. Here is the picture of the gown after alteration:

Review Venue : Nafiri Convention Hall - Megasa Hall - Central Park - Jakarta Barat (7/10) Megasa Hall CP. Ruangan yang cukup luas (bagian dalam 1.002 m2 dan bagian luar kurang lebih 350 m2) cukup untuk menampung tamu undangan kami yang kami perkirakan hadir sekitar 1.000 sampai dengan 1.200 orang. Yang paling kurang dari venue ini ada di akses yang kurang memadai. Sebenarnya ada 3 akses: yang pertama, dari Mall Central Park lantai bawah, dari Blitz, atau dari Gedung APL Tower. Namun kurangnya papan petunjuk membuat beberapa tamu keder untuk mencari tempat ini. Terlebih ada wedding di ruangan lain yaitu Rava yang saat itu nama pengantinnya mirip dengan kami jadi ada teman kami yang justru tersesat masuk ke wedding di Rava tanpa bermaksud jadi wedding crasher. Ada 1 pasangan yang juga salah masuk ke pesta kami dan memohon agar angpao dikembalikan jadi setelah pesta kami mentransfer ke rekening orang yang salah masuk tersebut. Hunting, Picking, and Choosing the wedding venue in Jakarta

The Wedding Venue Since we both live in West Jakarta, we are considering the wedding venue should be nearby our guests' house. Actually what comes first in my mind is to have a garden party and only invite some friends and families, kind  of an intimate wedding party. But then I remember when I held my sweet seventeen party in swimming pool (outdoor party), what we afraid is what if it is raining. So I decide that my wedding should be held in a ballroom. I have 3 requirements about what kind of ballroom I really wish could be our wedding venue: 1. Full Carpet 2. High Ceiling 3.
